THS golfers finish 3rd at state preview

Pippin comes in 2nd place

CLAREMORE — Tahlequah's Emily Pippin shot an 89 and came in second place at the Claremore tournament at Heritage Hills Golf Course on Tuesday. Also for Tahlequah, Mikal Yahola and Amber Sweeney shot a 108.

The Lady Tigers will play at the Hilldale tournament in Muskogee on Tuesday.

Lady Riders win

OKAY — The Hulbert slowpitch softball team beat Okay 6-2 on Tuesday. The Lady Riders are now 2-3 and will host Sallisaw Central on Thursday.

Bunch wins Keys tourney

Sequoyah's Rylan Bunch won his third tournament of the season on Tuesday when he shot a 77 and won the Keys tournament. Bunch won the Wagoner tournament to start the season and the first Keys tournament earlier this season.

No information was reported for Keys' team.
