Greenwood QB signs with Tulsa

TULSA — The University of Tulsa says Greenwood, Ark., high school quarterback Jabe Burgess has signed to play with the Golden Hurricane.

TU says Burgess has been admitted at TU and will attend classes for the spring semester starting in January.

Burgess led Greenwood High School to a 12-1 record as a senior with the only loss coming in the Arkansas state playoffs. Greenwood won the state championship last year with Burgess starting as a junior.
