Bulldogs blow past Keys

Area prep football briefs

PARK HILL — Keys tailback Dakota Matlock rushed 20 carries for 155 yards and two touchdowns, but the Cougars came up short against Lincoln Christian in a 49-16 defeat.

The Bulldogs (4-3, 2-1 District 3A-7) led 28-16 at halftime and scored 21 unanswered points in the second half.

Keys, which will play at Hilldale next week, logged 367 yards of total offense in the loss.

Wildcats run over Hulbert

SALINA — Salina beat Hulbert, 41-13, on Thursday night at Wildcat Stadium.

Salina improved to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in District 2A-8, while Hulbert dropped to 0-7 and 0-4.
