FRIDAY NIGHT RECAP: Rogers runs past Tahlequah

Rogers did what it usually does and ran the ball almost nonstop to pick up a 41-6 win over Tahlequah at Doc Wadley Stadium on Friday night.

The Mounties scored 27 unanswered points and controlled most of the second half.

Tahlequah's lone touchdown was on an 8-yard pass from David Dick to Kourt McMillan in the second quarter.

The Tigers trailed 14-6 at the break.

Tahlequah will continue in non-district play next week when it travels to Sallisaw.
