Tahlequah at Coweta

Where: Coweta gymnasium at Coweta High School (700 Ben Lumpkin Road, Coweta).

Nicknames: Tahlequah Tigers; Coweta Tigers.

Girls game

Records: Tahlequah (10-7, 5-2 Metro Lakes Conference); Coweta (5-12, 2-5).

Coaches: Tahlequah (Chad Walker); Coweta (Ron Ward).

About Tahlequah: The Lady Tigers moved up a spot No. 9 in the new Class 5A coaches’ poll on okrankings.com. ... About Tahlequah: The Tigers' three-game losing streak was snapped Saturday in a 76-60 victory over Northwest Classen. Lain Wright led the Tigers with 28 points, while Dalton Cunningham (18) and Jake Vader (14) also scored in double figures.

About Coweta: The Tigers dropped to No. 5 in 5A this week. ... Coweta entered the Shawnee tournament 13-1 this past weekend and left 14-2 after a win against Sapulpa and losses to Southeast and Stillwater. ... The combination Zach Norris, Caleb Norris, Ty Gunter and Austin Swboni has helped the Tigers average 62 points a game this season. ... About Hulbert: The Lady Riders are coming off a 1-2 weekend at the Kiefer tournament. Hulbert beat Oaks in the first round before dropping consecutive games to Ripley and Kiefer. ... Hulbert beat Warner 52-29 back in late November.

About Warner: After a tournament-opening win over Porum, Warner went on to lose its final two games of the Porum  tournament to Keota and Midway.
