Published August 29, 2008 11:56 am - Lady Riders get first win in wild softball game, 31-28 By LYNN WOMACK Press special writer TAHLEQUAH DAILY PRESS — The Hulbert Lady Riders softball tea had 36-hit attack in a 31-28 win over the Okay Lady Mustangs in a game that took three hours to complete, Thursday.
Included in the hit parade was Maykala Young with four singles and two doubles, Aleah Young had three singles and two doubles. Karley Dobson and Stephanie Wilson hit four singles each while Taylor Gassaway had four singles and a double. Angelique Garcia and Courtney Buford had four singles each and Ashley Shoemaker hit three singles and Jordan Landsaw had two singles. The Lady Riders batted around in every inning in the win. The Lady Riders are now 1-5 overall and 1-5 in Big Eight Conference and will play at Warner Tuesday in a 4 p.m. doubleheader.
