ORU women's schedule features Baylor, Arkansas

TULSA — Misti Cussen's first season as the head coach at Oral Roberts will feature a road game at defending national champion Baylor and a home game against Arkansas.

The schedule announced Thursday includes a Dec. 12 game at Baylor and Arkansas' visit to the Mabee Center on Nov. 19, the second home game of the season.

Cussen's debut will come against crosstown rival Tulsa in the season opener on Nov. 9 at the Mabee Center.

The challenging nonconference schedule also includes a total of five teams that made it to the NCAA tournament last season — Baylor, Arkansas, Nebraska, DePaul and Arkansas-Little Rock.

It will also be Oral Roberts' first season of Southland Conference play, with home and road games against each of the league's other nine schools.
