Oklahoma to play in Coaches vs. Cancer Classic

NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma basketball team will play in the 2013 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic in Brooklyn, N.Y.

OU announced Wednesday that the Sooners will join Michigan State, Seton Hall and Virginia Tech in the championship rounds on Nov. 22-23. OU will also host two games in Norman as part of the event.

The matchups will be announced later.

Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The event benefits the American Cancer Society.
