Stopp signs with Bacone

PARK HILL — Keys’ Jasi Stopp recently signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Bacone College in Muskogee. Stopp has been Keys’ goalkeeper four four years, while also playing softball and basketball.

"I'm excited to sign with Bacone and ready for the transition from high school soccer to college soccer,” Stopp said. “...I'm just ready to show the team what I can contribute.”

As for adding Stopp to her team, Bacone coach Tashana Taylor said: “I've been watching Jasi for the past two years and she has made tremendous improvement since the time I first saw her and the time that she was signed. Coach Willis (from Keys High) has done a great job with her and I hope to build on that as she will be a big contributor to our team.”

Stopp and the Lady Cougars were 6-2 heading into a matchup at Fort Gibson on Friday night.
