OCU sets exhibition game against Missouri

OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City University has scheduled an exhibition game with Missouri of the Southeastern Conference.

OCU will play at Missouri on Oct. 25. It will be the second time the schools have played each other. Missouri defeated OCU 85-68 in 1975.

OCU coach Dionne Phelps said the game will help his team both on and off the court.

Last year, OCU went 17-11 and won the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament on the way to the NAIA playoffs for the 20th time. Missouri lost in the second round of the NCAA tournament last season.

OCU has won six NAIA Division I basketball titles.
