BREAKING NEWS: Sequoyah stripped of slowpitch title

Sequoyah is again void of any championships in softball.

The Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association on Thursday vacated Sequoyah's Class 5A slowpitch softball championship in the spring of 2012.

"We are deeply saddened by this turn of events and the sanctions administered by the OSSAA," said Leroy Qualls, superintendent of Sequoyah schools.
