Ranking notes:

- Only one other team is unbeaten in Class 6A, and that's Lawton. And until the Wolverines lose, they'll secure the No. 2 spot. Sorry, Union.

- Perhaps Owasso isn't as good as years gone by, but Booker T. Washington's win over the Rams convinced me enough to vault the Hornets into the top 10.

- The top four in 5A are quickly separating themselves from the rest of the pack.

- Pryor, perhaps, should be in Bishop Kelley's spot in the top 10, but if the Comets lose to No. 2 McAlester this week, a change will be made, regardless.

- Quick, guess who has allowed the least amount of points in 5A. If you said Ardmore then you probably cheated, or you are an avid Tiger fan. Impressive season thus far down by the Red River.

- One thing is for sure, the 4A playoffs will be an absolute slugfest. You could arguably make a case for any of the top eight to 10 teams that they could win the state crown. So ranking them is no easy chore.

- You could probably have Blanchard, Kingfisher, Seminole and Metro Christian compete in multiple battle royales, and a different team could come out on top each time. Also, don't ignore Cushing and running back Gage Stallworth at No. 5.

- Millwood keeps picking up ground on Davis for No. 1 in 2A. Until Davis loses, they'll be my top team.

- There are any number of teams who look like they could win the Class A title. Thomas' loss to Hollis really shook things up last week.

- Laverne appears to be the best eight-man team in the state. But there are others who will have a say in that come playoff time in Class B.

- Class C is anyone's guess as the postseason nears.
