Westville tournament moved to Keys

Keys and Sequoyah both were slated to travel to Westville on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for an annual baseball tournament. But those plans have been altered, and both Cherokee County teams will stay close to home.

In fact, one of those teams (Keys) will be at home.

Due to a late-night storm rolling through Westville on Thursday, the baseball field was "under water" on Friday morning. Thus, the tournament was moved to Cougar Field at Keys High School.

Here's a look at the tournament schedule:

Game 1: Keys vs. Westville, 11 a.m.

Game 2: Sequoyah vs. Roland, 1 p.m.

Game 3: Keys/Westville winner vs. Kansas, 3 p.m.

Game 4: Game 1 loser vs. Game 2 loser, 5 p.m.

Game 5: Game 2 winner vs. Game 3 winner, 7 p.m.
