To kick off its fifth anniversary celebration, the Arts Council of Tahlequah is throwing a multi-arts event on Saturday, June 22, at Ned’s from 4 p.m. until close.

ACT seeks artists for the juried event. Juried artists can have or share a booth for $25. Send images to no later than Saturday, June 15.

Live music will be a focal point with performances by the 3 F’s, Jordan Cox and Osage County, Doc Fell, and Meandering Orange.

Fans of writing can hear readings, participate in an open mic, and write blackout poetry.

For visual artists, there will be live art, art booths, and art auctions. Games and food will be available, and $5 gets an all-day access. Attendees must be 21 or over.

Two additional events will highlight the fifth anniversary: an September awards dinner and silent auction to recognize the annual Arts Volunteer, Arts Supporter and Arts Board member of the Year; and the sixth annual Winter Concert on the first Sunday in December.
