Jack Waters and The Unemployed

Jack Waters and The Unemployed will play in Dewain's Place on Friday, July 12.

Area stages heat up in July, as a full month of live music is planned.

Fans should remember to contact the venues before heading to a show if there are questions about times, cover charges, age restrictions, etc.

The Billy Arnett Band will play a 5 p.m. show Thursday, July 4, on the Ancient Oak Tavern stage in Cherokee Casino Tahlequah, 3307 Seven Clans Ave. All guests must be 21 or older.

On Friday, July 5, Mason Jar Revival is set to play at 8 p.m. for the Independence Day celebration at Falcon Floats, 16326 N. Highway 10. There is no charge to hear the band or watch the fireworks show that night.

Also that night, Dan Martin plays 6-8 p.m. in Los Ranchos at Sycamore Springs Arena, 12754 S. 442 Road in Locust Grove, and George Brothers will play at 9 p.m. at Ancient Oak Tavern in Cherokee Casino Tahlequah.

All Friday shows at Dewain's Place, 303 S. Water Ave., start at 9:30 p.m. and have a $5 cover. Osage Country plays on July 5. Attendees must be 21 or older.

Ahna Jennings will play at 8-10 p.m. Friday in The Branch, 505 N. Muskogee Ave. All ages are welcome at The Branch.

Piddle's Bar & Grill at Pettit Bayside Resort, 20206 W. Pettit Bay Road, features a restaurant and live music for all ages. Maci Paige Band will take the stage at 8 p.m. on July 6.

Diamondhead Resort, 12081 Highway 10, hosts live music on the Campground Stage and at Gravel Bar & Grill. Music lovers don't have to be staying at the resort to see a show, but there may be a cover charge. Franke Lee is scheduled for the Campground Stage on July 6.

Other shows that Saturday include Dan Martin at The Branch, and Prince Albert & The Royal Knights in Ancient Oak Tavern.

The Protect our Watershed Benefit Concert for Clean Water will help support Green Country Guardians and take place 4-10 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, at Riverbend Floats, 15693 Highway 10. Tickets on Eventbrite.com are $18. Scheduled to perform are: My-Tea Kind featuring Bonnie Paine of Elephant Revival, Randy Crouch, Meandering Orange, Red Dirt Ranger, and more. All ages are welcome to shows at Riverbend.

The Friday, July 12, line up includes: Oklahoma Moon, Los Ranchos at Sycamore Springs Arena; Adam Miller, The Branch; Jack Waters and The Unemployed, Dewain's Place; Lyle Parman & The Slidebar Band, Ancient Oak Tavern; and DocFell & Co., Falcon Floats.

Playing on Saturday, July 13, are: Jason Wood, Riverbend Floats; Sissy Brown, Los Ranchos at Sycamore Springs Arena; Tyler Lee Band, Piddle's Bar & Grill; Rusty Meyers, Ancient Oak Tavern; and Dave Kay Band, Diamondhead Resort.

Sunday shows at Dewain's Place are free, and they start at 7 p.m. Jacob Dement & Jake Flint are set to play July 14.

As part of the "Burgers, Art, Music and Magic" fundraising event July 19, Tristen Cook will lead an open jam session in Wonder City Coffee, 118 E. Main St. in Locust Grove.

The following shows are also set for that Friday: The Vox Squadron, Gravel Bar & Grill in Diamondhead Resort; Andy Adams, The Branch; The Dixie Misfits, Falcon Floats; House Party, Ancient Oak Tavern; Blake Turner, Los Ranchos at Sycamore Springs Arena; and Pumpkin Hollow Band, Dewain's Place.

On Saturday, July 20, check out Livin' Country at Ancient Oak Tavern, Harley Tinsley at Piddle's Bar & Grill, Fused at Diamondhead Resort; Tyler Brant at Riverbend Floats; and Daniel Franke in The Branch.

Brandon Bethel plays at Dewain's Place on July 21.

For Friday, July 26, these bands are performing: Ahna Jennings, Los Ranchos at Sycamore Springs Arena; Pumpkin Hollow Band, Piddle's Bar & Grill; Dave Kay, Gravel Bar & Grill; The Three Fs, The Branch; Rockin' Horse Rebellion, Ancient Oak Tavern; and Mason Jar Revival, Dewain's Place.

The following night will have: Red Dirt Rangers, Diamondhead Resort; Melissa Hambree, Piddle's Bar & Grill; Fats Marley, The Branch; Blaine Bailey, Riverbend Floats; and The Mixers, Ancient Oak Tavern.

Carter Sampson and Joe Mack will play on Sunday, July 28, 6-9 p.m., at Dewain's Place.
