HULBERT - Northeastern Oklahoma Community Health Centers Inc. recently contributed to the Hulbert Community Library.
The Hulbert Health Center raised funds during NeoHealth's Fifth Annual Holiday Raffle.
Clinic staff chose to donate funds to the library because of the vital role it plays in the community.
"It's all about the kids. Libraries, books, reading - all critical for the development of our community," said NeoHealth Medical Director Kenneth Gibson.
Assistant Manager of the Hulbert Community Library Pam Davis accepted the donation on behalf of the library.
"It takes a village to raise children, and I feel like this is doing that. We are going to use this donation for our Summer Reading Program, which we do every year and want to continue doing to help children grow in the community," said Davis.
