Undersheriff Danny Lewis transported the 17-year-old boy from Tahlequah to the detention center. He ran from Lewis just before going into the detention center. Chief Investigator Jason Chennault went to Muskogee to assist in the search after learning the youth was at large. He was last seen wearing jeans and a blue shirt.
In an unrelated matter, sheriff’s deputies spoke to Frank Ward at Champlain’s Truck Stop Tuesday after a man entered the store and took a 30-pack of Bud Light. He left in a red Jeep Cherokee.
