An area woman faces misdemeanor charges of false reporting of a crime and resisting arrest following an incident last Thursday.

Misty McCoy was found by Sheriff’s Deputies Wes Hahn and John C. Wofford in a ditch near Roxie’s on State Highway 10. She allegedly told authorities she was crossing the road when a vehicle with some older officers in it hit her. Reports state McCoy became upset when emergency services personnel approached. She has been charged in district court with false reporting of a crime, obstructing an officer, resisting arrest and public drunk.

Chris Williams, 20; and Theophilus J. Mollie III, Walter Dill and Amber Stevenson, all 19, were arrested Saturday. Williams, Mollie and Stevenson were arrested for being minors in possession of 3.2 beer, public drunk and possession of paraphernalia. Mollie was also charged with resisting arrest. Dill was charged with public drunk and possession of marijuana.

Andrew Jason Sharp, 35, was arrested Sunday for domestic violence and destruction of private property for an alleged assault on Monica Raines.

Jerry Pack filed a report Monday, alleging his white 1985 Dodge pickup was taken. It has a tag number of 5007C6.

M.B. Howell told deputies Sunday someone took tools, a heat stove, air compressor, speakers and other items from his property.

Arnold Luethje filed a threats report Monday.

Jason Fullen and Gary Torix filed reports against each other stemming from an incident that started Sunday. Fullen allegedly pointed a gun at Torix and Torix allegedly made threats against Fullen and his son. The matter remains under investigation, and no charges have been filed.
