Two Cherokee County men are expected to face multiple burglary counts in district court after their arrest last week.

Chief Investigator Jason Chennault said he and Tahlequah Police Detectives Dale Glory and Nate King were working on the cases last week that led to the arrest of Robert Wesley Martin, 21, and Colt Wade Robison, 23. Chennault said the two men are responsible for burglaries of the Casey Payton and Tim Bogle homes. He said a guitar taken in one of the burglaries of Payton’s home has been recovered. Glory and King received information and worked with Chennault on developing the case and making the arrests.

In an unrelated matter, Derek O’Neal said thieves took a jar of quarters, a black poodle and the dog’s carrier Sunday.

Eddie Stewart said Friday that a 60-horse tractor and 16-foot utility trailer had been stolen.

Imogene Evans and Kellie Gregory filed protective order violation reports Monday.

Cherie Marrs reported receiving harassing calls Friday.
