A Park Hill man was arrested after officers found him lying on the ground next to Hatfield's Family Eye Clinic.

Tahlequah Police Sgt. Shawn Presley saw Larry Bell sprawled on the ground next to the eye clinic on May 6. After officers learned Bell had outstanding warrants through Cherokee County, he was arrested. While he was being booked at the detention center, jail personnel found multiple syringes, cut straws and containers with methamphetamine in a bag belonging to him.

On June 1, Officer Brian Jordan was working traffic on Fourth Street when he saw a suburban utility vehicle veer off an embankment and into a ditch, and continue through a field before striking two pipes. He got the SUV to finally stop on Park Hill Road. Stephanie Snow, who was in the driver's seat, laughed when asked if she was OK. After she repeatedly fell down and admitted to drinking, she was arrested.

A man stole $372.92 worth of groceries from Walmart on June 4. The man was seen by asset protection employees putting the items in his bag and walked past the self-checkout. He was issued a citation and released.

Employees at Casey's General Store called Tahlequah police on June 3 to report a man who had been banned came in several times.

A man walked into Family Dollar and stole a bottle of Tylenol. Store employees told officers the man left on a bike, and he was stopped shortly thereafter. He was searched, but no medicine was found.

On June 5, a woman used her infant to conceal stolen items at Walmart. The woman was caught on camera, putting $54.15 worth of items in a car seat, then placing the infant on top of them.

Officer Matthew Frits was called to TTCU in reference to a man littering in the bank drive-thru.
