Tahlequah police officers arrested a Bartlesville man for shoplifting at Wal-Mart over the weekend.
Kyle E. White, 18, allegedly took two pair of sunglasses, removed the tags and concealed the items in his pocket. He later took a hat, removed the tag and placed it onto his head. White later purchased some items at the self-checkout, but failed to pay for others. Later, after White had been booked into jail, authorities noticed he had ripped his blanket and was using it in an attempt to retrieve his socks from outside of the jail cell. Officers added a charge of destruction of property against White.
Police on Friday arrested 35-year-old Donald R. McCoy Jr., of Stilwell, after he allegedly concealed a cheeseburger while at Reasor’s and failed to pay for it.
Jody Richardson, 23, of Tahlequah, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, transporting an open container, speeding, and driving without a license Friday. Richardson was unsteady on his feet, and had initially been stopped for driving at night without his headlights, and for speeding. Police said they found an open container of Bud Light underneath the driver’s seat.
Police arrested Cody W. Sanders, 26, of Cookson, for DUI, transporting an open container of low-point beer, and transporting an open container of liquor. Passenger Jennifer Iadanza, 22, of Tahlequah, was arrested for public intoxication.
Kristie N. Ford, 26, of Tahlequah, was arrested for larceny of merchandise from a retailer last week.
Police arrested Ava D. Mosley, 55, of Vian, for public intoxication Friday evening.
Donald R. Wilder, 65, of Tahlequah, was arrested last week for public intoxication.
Tabitha Haworth, 33, of Gore, was booked into jail on a warrant and for larceny of merchandise from Wal-Mart Saturday evening.
Police arrested 38-year-old Victoria D. James, of Park Hill, for petit larceny and public intoxication Saturday.
Jayden L. Littlechief, 19, of Tahlequah, was arrested for public drunk Sunday morning.
Brett L. Walker, 23, of Hulbert, was booked into jail for public drunk early Sunday.
Charles B. Crittenden, 36, of Tahlequah, was arrested for driving without a valid license Sunday.
Lynzie Johnson told police she lost her wallet somewhere at Wal-Mart recently. When authorities reviewed surveillance video, they saw that it was dropped in the parking lot, and a few minutes later, the driver of another car stopped and took the wallet.
Eddie Rush Jr. filed a report after a vehicle was vandalized recently.
Austin Trapp told police another driver slammed his vehicle door in the side of Trapp’s vehicle, then sped off.
