The driver of the dump truck that struck and killed Jamie Stuck on June 25 has been identified.

Tahlequah Police Chief Nate King confirmed that Edwin Person was driving the dump truck northbound on the Bertha Parker Bypass when he began to turn right onto Downing. Struck had been westbound on foot on the south side of Downing Street and stepped in front of the vehicle. EMS personnel pronounced her dead at the scene.

King said the department is still reconstructing the accident. Once that is done, it will be sent to the District Attorney's office for review.

Person works for Garman Trucking, LLC out of West Siloam Springs.
