Illinois River Run Association is hosting a hot dog fundraiser to benefit the Tahlequah Men's Shelter on Saturday, June 22, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the parking lot of Recoil Arms, 108 E. Monroe.

"We are happy to be able to help out these men again this year," said Jaydon Ice, IRRA president.

This is a kickoff to start generating funds for Men's Shelter. Last year, IRRA raised funds in excess of $6,000 to split between the Men's Shelter and Help In Crisis. The Men's Shelter will receive all proceeds this year.

IRRA will hold its Poker Run and Car and Bike show event Sept. 13-15 at Sparrow Hawk Campground on scenic Highway 10.

Founded in 2018, IRRA, a 501(c)(3) community organization, is striving to make a difference in local communities.
