Northeastern Oklahoma Community Health Centers Inc. held the fourth annual Holiday Raffle, a charitable effort that raises donations for local communities and offers a $1,000 grand prize for the raffle winner.
The medical facility raised over $2,000 to donate to local charitable organizations in Hulbert, Muskogee, Tahlequah, Salina, and Westville.
NeoHealth recently drew raffle winners, naming Paul Coltharp as the grand prize winner of a $1,000 gift card.
"This couldn't come at a better time," said Coltharp when he collected his prize. "This will really help around this time."
This year, NeoHealth also gave a $175 gift card, won by Lou Wedding.
"I never win anything," said Wedding, who added she would be donating a portion of her winnings to charity.
An additional $100 gift card winner was drawn; the winner asked that their prize be donated to the charity of the Hulbert Health Center's choice.
The prize money is funded by NeoHealth's Providers, allowing 100 percent of money raised through selling raffle tickets to go back to the community. Each NeoHealth clinic chooses which organization to which they will donate.
