OKAY – The Keys Lady Cougars outscored the Okay Lady Mustangs in every quarter but the second for a 49-33 win. Kaci Hood was the leading scorer for Keys with 15 points. Tabitha Lawerence had 12 point and Lindsey Lawrence scored 11 for the Lady Cougars.

Keys outscored Okay in the first, 15-8 as Hood had eight of the points with two 3-pointers and a field goal. Mikayla Swanson, Rachel Blankenship, and Heather Deckard had two points each for Keys. Tabitha Lawrence had one point in the quarter.

The second quarter was the only quarter Okay outscored Keys, 10-7. Lindsey Lawence had four in the quarter with a basket and was 2-2 from the line. Blankenship had the other points for the Lady Cougars with three. She had one field goal and was 1-2 from the line. Keys led 22-18 at the half.

The Lady Cougars put the game away in the second half as Keys out scored Okay 15-7 in the third for a 37-25 lead. Hood had five in the quarter with a 3-pointer and was 2-2 from the line. Tabitha Lawrence scored four points in the third with a bucket and was 2-4 from the charity stripe. Blankenship and Lindsey Lawrence had three points each.

The Lady Cougars outscored the Lady Mustangs 12-8 in the fourth. Tabitha Lawernce scored five in the quarter with a 3-pointer and was 2-4 from the free throw line. Lindsey Lawernce and Hood had two points from the line while Jamie Neff scored one from the line for her only point of the game.

The Lady Cougars start Districts at home with Henryetta on Saturday. Tip-off isat 6:30 p.m.
