The Lady Riders lost to Inola 25-19, 25-11, 25-14 Monday. In the first game Katy Wallace had two points while Paiten Taylor and Melissa Jones had one point each. Taylor had two kills while Masters had one kill for the Lady Riders. In the second game, Cassie Ralls and Wallace had the only two service points for the Lady Riders. Taylor had a block in the game. In the third game the Lady Riders had five service points. Andrea led in points for the Riders with three, while Jones and Wallace had one each.

The J.V. won 18-25, 25-17, 16-14. In the third game Hidi Charney had the final three points, all aces, for the win. In Junior High action, Tuesday, Berryhill defeated Hulbert 25-17, 25-17, 25-12. Courtney Buford led the way for the Lady Riders with two ace serves and two kills.

The Varsity finishes the regular season at 11-13-2. The J.V. finishes the season at 8-5, while the Junior High completes their season at 3-6.

Next action for Hulbert will be at Regionals at Okay, Thursday. Hulbert will play Westville at 11 a.m. in the opening round.

Lady Riders softball season comes to abrupt end

The Lady Rider softball season came to an abrupt end Monday as Salina cancelled because of not enough eligible players. Hulbert finishes the season at 8-7.

Chouteau sweeps Hulbert in junior high football

In the 6th/7th grade game Chouteau defeated the Riders 28-0. The highlight of the game for the Riders was a halfback pass by Cody Long for 20 yards to Conner Boyd. In the 8th/9th game, Chouteau defeated Hulbert 22-6. Tyler Forrest led in rushing with 75 yards. Forrest had the Riders' only score, a 16 yard run in the fourth quarter.

The 6th/7th grade falls to 0-3 while the 8th/9th grade are now 1-2. Next action will be and 8th/9th grade game only at Lincoln Christlian Tuesday. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m.
