TEMPE, Ariz. – For the first time since 2003, Northeastern State will have two ITA All-Americans in the same season.  Tatjana Stoll and Mayra Jovic are two of 20 players nationally to earn the highest postseason honor in Division II singles play. 

This is the second consecutive season for Stoll earn ITA All-American status in Division II Women’s Tennis in singles, and she is the sixth NSU player in its program history to earn multiple All-American honors from the ITA.  The NSU junior finished the season ranked No. 12 in the nation with a 12-4 record.

Jovic finished the 2019 season ranked at No. 14 with a 13-2 record in the No. 2 singles spot and went 38-2 in her regular season career at NSU. 

Since 1997, at the start of NSU entry into NCAA Division II membership, Jovic is the tenth to earn ITA All-American status.   Current and former ITA All-Americans at Northeastern State include: Tatjana Stoll (2018-19), Mayra Jovic (2019), Patricia Husakova (2016) Kristina Savchenkov (2014), Neus Barbera (2003), Zorana Stefanovic (2002-03), Maite Vila (2001), Evelina Akkers (2001), Zdena Rebekova (2000), and Sanja Milas (1999).­
